Commercial gas and heating services
Full-scope commercial gas and heating support for communal energy centres. We install, service and certify every component in your plant room, keeping residential developments warm, safe and Gas Safe compliant all year round.
The challenge
When the plant room fails, every resident feels it
A communal energy centre supplies heating and hot water to every home in the building. A fault with a boiler, burner or pressurisation unit can leave residents without heat, and gaps in gas safety records leave the building exposed at audits and inspections.
Our engineers are experienced across complex communal plant rooms, including boilers, burners, pumps, pressurisation equipment and control systems.

Ask us a questionAre your engineers Gas Safe registered?
Yes. Direct Gas & Heating Ltd is on the Gas Safe Register (registration number 659326), and our engineers are City & Guilds qualified.
Do you provide gas safety certificates?
Yes. Gas safety certification (CP12) and Landlord Gas Safety records are part of our commercial gas and heating service.
How often should a communal plant room be visited?
Frequencies are agreed for each asset and risk profile. A typical programme includes monthly checks, quarterly inspections, six-monthly servicing and an annual major service.
Can you look after the whole plant room, not just the boilers?
Yes. We also maintain pumps, pressurisation units, MCC panels, BMS interfaces and water hygiene, so one specialist contractor covers the entire plant room.
